At the bottom right corner of your browser window you will see a Chat bubble icon. This is the instant messaging feature. 
Select the Chat icon. A window will pop up showing members who are available to chat. To start chatting, click on any member name in this window. A new chat box will pop up on the bottom of your browser window. Type in your message and hit the return key. That’s it! You’re chatting!
You can also start chatting with another member by opening their profile and clicking on 'Send IM' under his profile photo.
If someone is trying to chat with you, you’ll see a red number notification next to their username at the bottom of your browser window.
If you find that the Chat bubble has disappeared from the screen, please read this FAQ on what you can do to get it back again.
Note: all new BateWorld members must wait a full 24hrs before being able to send/receive any message.
