Accounts can be temporarily deactivated, which is the right choice if you wish to take a break from BateWorld. Deactivating means your BateWorld account will no longer appear in the search results or in friends lists. All that's needed to reactivate your account is simply log in with your email and password.
To deactivate your account navigate to 'My Profile' from the main menu. From the drop-down menu select 'Settings'. From there, select the 'Deactivate Account' tab and then the 'Deactivate My Account' button. You'll then be asked to confirm the selection by typing 'Deactivate', and then select 'Deactivate My Account'.
Your profile will be immediately deactivated.

An important note on account deactivation
BateWorld only stores media (photos, video, and audio content) for active accounts. In order to maintain an active account, you must log into BateWorld at least once every 90 days.
If you deactivate your account, or you do not log in for more than 90 days, your account will be considered inactive. Profile information and uploads for inactive accounts will be held for 6 months before being removed from our systems.
Remember, you can restore an inactive account at any time, just by logging in with your email address and password.
